Ever have a prospect “buy” from you only to return it shortly after? If you could reverse this, how would that benefit your business? Rich Kettley has extensive experience in teaching business practitioners the psychology of sales and how to implement these concepts into their professional relationships and marketing strategies. Attending his first "Million Dollar Round Table" (MDRT) in 1994, Rich has been involved with the financial services industry for all of his professional career. For over twenty years he has trained hundreds of thousands of advisors how to use different technologies and sales tactics to educate their clients, and obtain more sales, larger sales, all in much less time. This is done by teaching in the areas of practice management, sales skills (including marketing) and product knowledge. In addition to working with new financial representatives, Rich has had the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the industry’s top professionals. Within the financial services industry, he has worked in various capacities including: software development, training, technical support and, of course, sales & marketing. With several years spent in retail and corporate sales, he has taken that experience to do large group presentations as well as one-on-one training sessions. Currently Rich works with some of the top reps and teams in the industry, which he thoroughly enjoys. Rich is a graduate of Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Business and served on the Board for Advisys, Inc., Home of the Back Room Technician and echoWealth a financial planning software (SAS) system used to create financial needs analysis by the advisor for clients and prospects. Growing up in Newport Beach with six sisters and now having four boys and a little girl, Rich describes his life as organized chaos. When he’s not training, marketing and doing personal production, he is involved with several philanthropic groups and loves being active in the outdoors.
